About BEATVET
Vocational Education in Inclusive Practice for Music and Dance Professionals

Objectives
BEATVET aims to transform inclusive artistic practice into a structured VET competence area for music and dance professionals. The project addresses the skills gap in working with deaf participants by developing a modular, digitally supported CPD model integrating vibrotactile technology, inclusive pedagogy and adaptable workshop design. It strengthens professional capacity, inclusion and digital innovation in the creative sector.
Activities
The project includes needs analysis (literature review, surveys and focus groups), development of 6 micro-learning modules, a Professional Toolkit and a web-based vibrotactile application. These outputs will be piloted in three countries with trainers and deaf participants. The project also covers structured quality assurance, dissemination, open-access publication and sustainability planning.
Results
BEATVET will deliver a validated, transferable and scalable VET training package, including modular learning content, practical tools and a functional digital application. The project will increase inclusive pedagogical competences among music and dance professionals, enhance accessible artistic participation for deaf individuals and position inclusive practice as a professional standard in the creative sector.
