Beat App

A web-based tool that analyses uploaded music, finds its tempo and beat, and sends them to wearable vibration devices and visual tempo displays.

A tablet showing tangerine rings, a haptic wristband and a vibration pad on a maple floor.

From music to touch and light

  1. Upload music

The trainer adds the piece the group will work with.

  2. Find the beat

The tool analyses the music and generates its tempo and beat data.

  3. Feel and see it

The beat goes out as vibration to vests and wristbands, and as a visual tempo display.

Try the idea

This is not the app itself, only its idea in your browser: a beat you can see, and on some phones feel.

Choose a tempo

Numbers are beats a minute. Android phones also vibrate; nothing makes a sound.

When

A working prototype is developed by Create2Me in November and December 2026, tested in the pilots in 2027 and kept running and updated after the project.

Into the studio

Twelve trainers and twelve deaf participants test it all.
